Pet waste bag benefits include keeping your yard or the path you walk your pet clean, helping you be a good neighbor by preventing others from stepping in your dog's waste, making cleaning up after your dog easier, and helping prevent the spread of disease by containing germs. When choosing pet waste bags, you should consider things like whether you need a bag with easy-tie handles or ones on rolls, whether the bag is made from eco-friendly materials like cornstarch or vegetable-based plastics to reduce the amount of virgin plastics, and if they need to be compostable.
Ours are eco-friendly because they degrade 100% within 6 months at commercial composting facilities (not home-compostable). They are made of resin that meets FDA/USDA specifications and is comprised of 40-50% plant-based material. They are certified compostable according to the US Standard ASTM D6400 and the European Standard EN 13432. They are NOT recyclable.
