Ziplock bags, also known as resealable bags, can be used at home to pack lunches, refrigerate leftover food, store dry spice powders, organize jewelry, carry travel essentials, or organize medicines. Business uses include manufacturers using them as parts bags and distributors using them to ship small pieces so they do not get lost in packaging materials.
Ours are eco-friendly because they biodegrade (the zipper too) in landfills, at sea, and on land and are recyclable. They are made with standard low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and a proprietary additive that allows them to biodegrade 15% within one year in landfills as per ASTM D5511 for testing and proving the biodegradation of plastic materials under anaerobic landfill conditions; testing was performed by an independent accredited lab – Northeast Laboratories, Inc. Due to state regulations, these are not for sale in California.
All seven sizes are 2 mil thick and can be purchased in packs of 100 bags or 1,000 bags (100 bags/pack, 10 packs/case). They all have a single zipper except the largest size, which has a double zipper. And they all include a green line on the header above the zipper to symbolize their eco-friendliness. They are made of resin that meets FDA/USDA specifications.
