Zee Green Bags was formed in 2013 by John Zeiger. John is a graduate of Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He spent the first 20 years of his career working in Information Systems positions for the Department of the Navy, Susquehanna International Group (SIG), and Penn Mutual Life Insurance. For two years, he lived in Dublin, Ireland where he was instrumental in building SIG’s new European headquarters.
In 2009, John went into business for himself and started the website design company ZYGR INsites; soon after Green Packaging, Inc. in the suburban Philadelphia area became a client. His keen interest in their mission led him to become part of their team where he managed a division that offered environmentally-friendly plastic bags. When given the opportunity to buy the division, he did so without hesitation and established Zee Green Bags.
John Zeiger discovered he has a passion for being careful with and protective of our environment. He is inspired enough to have had his yard at home certified as a Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. He has a proven track record of corporate experience coupled with a passion for conducting his business in an environmentally conscientious manner. In doing so, he can help others meet any personal, corporate or governmental compliance issues for environmentally friendly practices.
